The race was delayed, but we finally got going. Aaron ran with me for a little while, but soon decided that Rylan and I were going much too slow!
Rylan had a great time! He cheered for everyone we passed or who passed us! He also did a lot of “wheee! wheee!” He sounded like the little piggy on the Geico commercial!
Aaron has been in a running club called “Kids on the Run” for almost 2 years, now. It has only been recently that he has really gotten into it, though. He begged his Daddy to run a 5k with him. So, James signed up the entire family for the “Raleigh Rocks 5K”, and off we went!
Aaron got his race number and was ready to “rock-n-roll”!

Pinewood Derby Race!
After a 1st place finish for the Tiger Cubs at the Pack Pinewood Derby, Aaron was invited to participate in the District Pinewood Derby.
