1st Morning in Kona

After arriving at our hotel after midnight, we discovered that they had given us a king size bed! Luckily, they had provided a crib for Rylan. James, Aaron and I all piled into the king bed and fell right to sleep!

Unfortunately for us, jet-lag set in and Rylan had us up at 6:00 am!

Aaron promptly went out to explore the balcony (or lanai as they call it in Hawaii!)

Then, we all headed out to explore the island!

Here is the view of our hotel from “Java on the Rock”.

We enjoyed a yummy breakfast while looking out over the Pacific Ocean (and James’s future swim route for the race)!
